I'm Elyse, an Oakland and Bay Area Birth Doula, Breastfeeding Educator, Placenta Encapsulator, and most importantly, lover of all things food-related. I offer wellness consults as an Aromatherapy and Nutrition educator, as well.
I love the work I do; caring for families, assisting them in times of transition, and nurturing new beginnings. What better way to express those loves than by being a doula?! After over a decade as a nanny/family assistant/home manager, becoming a doula made perfect sense, and I wake up every day excited about the work I do.
Outside of being a doula, I am the Operations Manager at Then Comes Baby, I volunteer at San Francisco General Hospital's doula program, and do lots of active and eating things with my husband and puppers.
I'm a wellness junky, book hoarder, succulent collector, tea and chocolate lover, and am obsessed with The Great British Baking Show. If you don't know about The GBBS, go on Netflix asap, and binge your heart out. You're welcome.
